473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for around $3.75 CDN.

Appearance - Hazy golden brew capped with a finger of tight white head. Moderate head retention and no lacing to speak of.

Smell - Biscuity and grainy aroma, hints of vanilla and coffee.

Taste - Biscuity flavor, lots of grain, some sweetness and vanilla with a suggestion of coffee and chocolate.

Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, lots of carbonation and seems dense. Finish is pretty solid and definitely not dry.

Overall - Decent blonde latte / white stout type of beer. Worth trying, but if this style isn't really your bag, I doubt there will be anything that really perks it up. Worth a try, but don't expect to be blown away.

Near clear, faded gold body, forming a thick white head with good retention of a few minutes, leaving a layer for several.
Faint aroma of vanilla, milk, and biscuit malt, some buttery yeast too.
Flavours of butter pastry, vanilla cupcake, just a hint of warm spice; a buttery luxurious feel with very fine carbonation; finishes off-dry, with a lingering hop bitterness and dash of alcohol heat providing balance to the sweet malt and floral, almost perfume-like flavour; however, some cloying sugars remain. It's a bit of a stretch to sense coffee or cocoa nibs, but maybe there is a sense of faint chocolate that the mind overlooks due to the gold colour.

While not living up to the 'cocoa coffee latte' name, this does give faith that there could be potential in the white stout category, which in my experience has been disappointing. Well crafted, an interesting change for winter months.

A-Golden yellow with a ring of white head and good lacing
S-Malt forward aroma with subtle notes of coffee and chocolate
M-Medium body and carbonation, with a mouthfeel that is reminiscent of a stout in its velvety component
T-Interesting stout qualities with elements of chocolate and coffee, but quite subdued
O-Definitely a strange one. I enjoyed it, but the blonde look with a stout everything else played with my senses…

L: Translucent gold yellow with little head and minimal lacing
S: Faint overall with a bit of a skunky smell but also very faint notes of cacao and coffee
T: Interesting taste with a nice balance of lightly resiny hops and toasty malts. The coffee and cacoa notes are subtly present. Not overly bold and minimal bitterness.
F: Light bodied and a little frothy with medium carbonation. A bit dry.
O: Enjoyable and lives up to it's description as a white stout with coffee and cacao nibs. It's not as intense as I had imagined but turned out to be very well balanced.
