*From Notes*
The beer is a nice clear pale amber color that is actually a little brownish but still appealing.
The smell and taste are both surprisingly good. They both have a moderate yam note that is fairly sweet. The yam note is complemented by light spice notes that include nutmeg and a nice lactose sweetness from what appears to be a marshmallow flavor.
The feel is okay, which is disappointing considering how good the smell and taste are. The beer has a medium body with very little carbonation. It's a bit thin and not in the good way either.
Overall, it's worth getting. I don't generally like yam beers because I think yams are weird and are for eating, not drinking. However, the smell and taste are worth tolerating the disappointing body.
