Four fingers of fine foam flower forth from a B. United teku glass. Lingering light head lasts several minutes before settling, leaving thick patches of sticky lace. The beer is gem clear SRM 5-6 (old gold) with lots of tiny random carbonation wafting up from within.
Fermented fruit and barnyard aromas yield to pepper and celery. Orange and lemon fill out the middle, while warmth brings forth mango in a spectacular way.
This beer is surprisingly astringent, similar to orange juice and toothpaste. Equal measures of tart, sweet and bitter are consistent throughout. Mango is prominent and accentuated by warmth. Warmth also brings out orange juice and white wine. The finish is modest and lingering.
A slick, wooly texture and full body tame the higher than expected alcohol, holding back the warmth. This beer is super dry with soft yet ample carbonation.
As a Saison should be, this is comfortable and well-suited to early Spring. I am enjoying it while playing with our new puppy on a cool, sunny day.

22oz bottle. Pours a frothy golden yellow. Almost straw like. Lots of white head that lingered. Smells like lemon and other citrus like oranges. First taste is a wee bit sour with a rush of sweet citrus. Tastes almost like a fine sour. Little to no abv burn. Smoothest sour saison I have tried. Reallly good.

Only think I'd like to see is a little thicker mouthfeel. Felt thin, although it didn't taste thin.

Apperance: pours a straw yellow color. a two finger white head forms and has strong retention and leaves a solid lacing behind. Pretty much clear with some strong brightness to it.
Smell: some farmhouse yeast, along with lots of tropical fruits ranging from pineapple to mango. no bitterness and a slight earthy muskiness.
Taste: opens up wit a slightly earthy and musky taste quickly drowned out by a sweet fruit juice taste of pineapple and mango. a slight funky twang at the end. some white wine grapes make their way through occasionally.
Mouthfeel: a bit clean and easy to drink for a brett beer.
Overall: a tasty and nice beer but the brett flavor is almost too clean. it needs a bit more of a kick to it.
