Had it on tap at SingleCut Brewery. I thought I was getting a light drinking sour. Instead, I got something a bit more complex and pleasantly surprising.
Pours an amber orange, moderate head, good retention.
As expected the nose was tart.
The tartness and sour qualities are there and wonderfully refreshing. However, there is a bold hops presence that is IPA like. The body is also more medium than light; more complex and full than I was expecting.
Seems like a unique hybrid of sour ale and IPA. Very interesting! Well done!
