Had on tap. Pours hazy, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is melon and tangerine. Medium bodied and carbonation, slightly bitter. Good but does not jump out the same way other SingleCut beers do. Bit of a disappointment by the brewery standards, but still above average.

Goopy. Sludgy. Messy. Unless, of course, pureed Flintstone vitamins are good. I feel like I am going insane when I pay six dollars for a beer like this.

Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Hazed golden pour with thick fluffy white head. Great lacing.
S: Tropical fruit and sweet citrus... tangerine, grapefruit, and mango.
T/F: Just like it smells... tropical fruits and citrus. Sweet up front... very modest bitterness. Mango and tangerine... but a little muted in flavor as compared to other Singlecut brews. Grapefruit of course. Medium bodied... fruit at the finish.
O: A fine IPA... and maybe it's just me, but this one didn't live up to other Singlecut brews I've had. The flavors just felt a bit muted... and I don't think this compares to their other work. Still a solid beer, but not one I'll seek out again. Give me Weird & Gilly any time over this one.

Bought a can at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow, MA. The beer has a dark orange appearance with a thin head but thick lacing. Orange citrus aromas; nothing too strong. Sweet citrus flavors thanks to oranges, grapefruit, and mango flavors. Really nice. Medium body. Overall, good IPA across the board, especially with taste.

A: Poured from the growler into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is hazy golden-orange with a big, fluffy, white head on top. It may be the design of the growler that caused that massive head, but it causes me to sit here for awhile, riding out the day's events as it settles. . . finally leaving behind mean, mean strides of lace.
S: Very nice nose of juicy tropical fruit, overripe oranges, melon and mango. Not sure what the brewers were going for here, but they ought to be filled with mean, mean pride.
T: Minor - very minor - let-down here. . . The world is, the world is . . . a bit sweeter than expected. Again, very ripe and sweet tropical fruits predominate: ripe canteloupe, mango, papaya, candied orange peels. Juicy and tasty, I just like a little more bitterness. Finishes with a touch of spice.
M: The mouthfeel here may be driving the let-down of the taste, as it gets by on you with it's pretty slick and syrupy feel detracting from the overall impression.
O: Always hopeful about SingleCut releases, but I must register a bit of discontent with this one. Needs more bitterness and a tad bit more carbonation or "bite" in the feel to boost the overall impression.

Canned 11/27/18
Poursa nice foamy frothy dense 1 finger head, great retention and soapy lacing, very hazy murky pale slight copper orange color
Nose brings loads of juicy hops, citrus, grapefruit, tropical papaya guava like, a little melon, hinting at dank pine grassy notes, nice tropical and grapefruit fruit punch
Taste brings mild fluffy base malt and hint of alcohol to prop up the big hops, plenty of juicy citrus and tropical, big grapefruit, little pithy, bit of papaya, guava, passion fruit, etc, tropical juice bomb, then mild green dank grassy spicy pine notes, a bit of melon as well, finishing mild sticky sweet, wish it was attenuated a bit more, bit more bitterness, big pith lingering
Mouth is med bod, soft juicy creamy feel, nice creamy carb, a touch of alcohol warmth
Overall not bad, big juicy double NEIPA, starts to hint at grassy spicy pine but doesn't go that far, pretty nice though

Another lovey looking hazy orange brew from these guys the the sweet fruity nose. So far very good. Familiar fruity bittersweet flavor with some earthy additions. Just the right amount of carbonation and that medium/ thin feel I like. Top notch.
