Aged for 2 years. Black color. Beige, medium-sized head. Coffee, bourbon, molasses, dark fruits, and alcohol in the aroma. Well-balanced taste with little sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Warming finish, full of wood and bourbon notes. Wish the aroma had less alcohol.

Brown appearance with a sparse beige head that recedes quickly to a collar, low retention, no lacing. Cocoa, tobacco, spice. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

A: Dark brown; ruby highlights. Doesn't strike me as a big and rich imperial stout. Almost no head formation after a vigorous pour. Looks clear.
S: Simple corn sweetness, leather, wood, oak tannins, diluted dark chocolate syrup.
M: Body is way thin, almost unacceptable for the style. Leaves a nice warming touch on the lips like getting a kiss from someone with venom lip gloss.
T: Spicy pepper with a quick, sweet punch of mesquite honey. Best way to explain is that the sweetness is separate and compartmentalized...unintegrated. Drying spice of cinnamon, vanilla extract, raw chocolate chip cookie dough.

Mr. Charming was my first endeavor into the Singlecut Beersmiths' offerings. This stout defines the BA sector and what it means to inpart bourbon into the beer base. Tons of bourbon coming through, with a very sweet and strong finish. A very good BA stout that whiskey lovers would fully appreciate.

Brewed with cacao, vanilla bean, Oregon honey, and aged in mixed bourbon and rye barrels from Yankee Distillers...
Woody and leathery aromas over roasted malt and something like tobacco... Bittersweet chocolate and thinning whiskey barrel wood, with some deeper fruit notes like plum and date... Little bit of spice and caramel, maybe something even floral... Body is too thin for me, and it drinks more like a dark Belgian ale than an imperial stout...
Decent, but off the mark for me...
