Pours an unfiltered, murky burnt orange with a golden hue. Looks like a New England-style IPA.

Smell consists of candied and juicy mango, pineapple, papaya, grapefruit, and tangerine. Slight pine in the background. Very sweet and somewhat nutty malt presence.

Taste takes a 180 on the aroma. Pine is more at the forefront with a background of juicy tropical (mango, pineapple, papaya) and citrus fruits (grapefruit and tangerine). The juicy fruits start to come through more as it warms. A slight yeastiness to it as well. A much dryer finish than anticipated.

Medium body with a somewhat creamy and oily mouthfeel.

If the taste on this was more in line with the juicy and fruity aroma, I would like this even more. Nevertheless, a very good IPA that is definitely diggable as the title says.

Look: Pours a hazy orange like pulpy orange juice with minimal head that sticks around for half a pint
Smell: Citrus fruit, Orange, grapefruit, Citra definitely makes itself known
Taste: Orange, Mango, Citrus matches smell nicely. Substantial flavor for such a light IPA that leaves you wanting more.
Feel: Light and pleasant. Cloying stickiness really brings beer up a notch.

Overall: Crushable but still flavorful. Dare I say this is perfect summer can drinking. Here's hoping this becomes a more regular offering. Worth seeking out, especially if you want flavor without ABV. Cheers to Spiteful!

look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75

Appearance: Pours with a big heavy of fluffy white head of about two and a half fingers. Sticky lacing left behind with each sip. The color with a golden yellow with accents of orange. Active carbonation is a touch low.

Smell: Candied sweet sugars and tropical fruits all over the front of this one. The malts certainly take a back seat but come off with a slight nuttiness which plays well with the bright hop profile. Light piney bitterness is picked up on the back end.

Taste: Piney hop bitterness hits right away. A little surprising after the aroma. Earth, grass, and rustic hop notes open up on the body. Some of those brighter tropical fruits pop through on the body but are not a major player. Malts have a darker caramelized sugary flavor with some toffee as well. The finish is lingering wave after wave of bitter pine, really quite unrelenting.

Mouthfeel: Dry and bitter. Interesting combination of earth and sweetness in this brew. Carbonation is a touch bright.

Overall: Really surprised how different the aroma and taste are but yeah, I dig. I would have no hesitation recommending this one for someone looking for a big time hop fix. This feels like a much bigger brew then 6% abv. Good stuff.

The brew is a very cloudy orange amber. There's very little head that disappears quickly.

The aroma is predominately orange zest. I also get some herbal orange aroma and some candied oranges as well that reminds me of an orange gummy. Swirling the glass pushes some more green herbal notes and a bit of pine.

The flavor is full of citrus rind bitterness. The bitterness does linger a bit and becomes more prominent with each drink.

The feel is light to medium which is on par.

Overall this is a nice IPA with loads of Citra hops. The aroma is this brews best aspect, because it's complex and can be pushed forward with a hearty swirl. The flavor is very bitter, which you'd expect from any IPA. However, I think the bitterness totally dominates the taste. I would have liked to taste more of the malt to stand up to the hops. Cheers to CBKA and Spiteful!

Cloudy orange, billowing head of off white foam that forms irregular crags and peaks as it irises above the rim of the glass. Long lasting surface coverage for the duration of the glass, drippy lace down the sides.

Pungent aroma of fresh bitter greens, citrus fruits, and sandalwood.

Tangerine zest, orange pith, supple wheat, dry bitter finish of arugula and dandelion greens. Light bodied, quenching, and very drinkable. Similar to Spiteful IPA with a more bitter and green hop profile.
