Electric Haze is a smooth drinking Juicy IPA! Hand crafted and unfiltered — it is undeniably hazy and full of fruit and citrus character from dry hopping with Mosaic and Eldorado hops; an electrifying combination!

At Fionn MacCool's in nearby downtown Windsor, on tap and chilled. My first beer from the Windsor, ON brewery. At an outing of the Monthly Dinner Group, which I am the leader.

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded Feb 23 2023 and served barely chilled.
Pours a muddied, translucent golden-yellow colour, its body rife with flecks of sandy sediment; it's initially topped with a little over a finger of smooth, foamy white head that collapses within a couple of minutes. A snaking swath of narrow lace is left in its wake, as well as a tight collar and filmy cap. Mildly earthy, underwhelming aroma of pear, mango, resiny herbs and stone fruit.
Quite earthy, vegetal and resiny, not at all what one might expect from a self-styled juicy IPA - though the fruity hop flavours do crop up later on. Melon, pear, mango and orange are present, but get brushed aside by resiny, earthy hop bitterness & vegetal hop notes on the back end; hints of citrus and tropical fruit fade into an earthy, floral aftertaste. Medium in body, with moderate carbonation that adds some spritz to this brew's smooth, soft mouthfeel. Not as good as their Geronimo IPA, which itself is nothing to write home about.
Final Grade: 3.42, a B-. The first sip was a little off-putting, but over the course of the glass I grew to tolerate, if not explicitly enjoy Electric Haze Juicy IPA. "Juicy" is a misnomer IMO - I'm gonna give this beer one more shot at some point in the future, just in case this can/batch was a fluke, but at this point I'd say this is one of the poorest hazy IPAs I've tried in months. Walkerville does brew some decent beers, but they either need to step up their pale ale game, or just focus on other styles. God knows Ontario beer shelves are already saddled with far too many mediocre IPAs as it is.
