"French Saison strain with lime zest, peppercorns and rye. Finished with a huge dry hop of Centennial." Alpha Series.
Poured from a 330ml bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a murky dark brown colour with a small white head.
Smells quite funky and zesty.
Tastes like tart dark fruit, with herbs and a bit of spice. Classic saison funk to give it a pretty unique taste.
Overall a pretty original beer. I quite like it.
