Had this on-tap at the brewery. Described as a farmhouse ale with ginger and citrus on their blackboard. Color is darker than expected for the style and has a red tint as suggested by the beer name. Flavor has nice mild belgian yeasty notes; phenolic and somewhat spicy with underlying malt balance. I don't get a lot of citrus here, but the ginger flavor is noted in the finish. Overall flavor seems to be somewhere between a saison and a wit. Good summer beer choice and an interesting take on a style, but the flavor isn't exciting enough for a high recommendation.
