Poured a dark brown, almost black color with 3-to-4 fingers of milky, tan, rocky head. Good foamy, spiderweb lacing on the sides of the glass. Very good retention on the top. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled lots of bubbly carbonation up front. Also chocolate milk, caramel, toffee and some nuts. (Feel - 3.50)
Tasted chocolate, cocoa nibs, roasty nuts, milky notes, light marshmallow (but not as much as I would hope), caramel and toffee. (Sight - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt finish. (Feel - 3.50)
This was just an OK milk stout overall. I probably overrated it a tad. Not enough Lucky Charms and too much carbonation. Might have been better as it warmed, but I didn’t get it. (Overall - 3.50)
