this is an outstanding glass of beer. a little table saison with lemongrass and orange peel for the summer. its gorgeous from start to finish. the color is a radiant pale yellow, super bright looking despite some haze, lots of carbonation, and a full inch of shaving cream thick white head, dead sexy! the aroma is awesome too, some of the freshest and most authentic smelling lemongrass i have ever seen in a beer. the orange is there too, but well behind the lemongrass. there is a light hoppiness as well, and a wonderful yeast complexion that smells almost bretty, but still super clean. there is an awesome clean funk to this, even slightly tangy, insanely refreshing with the natural lemongrass, maybe not quite wild, but whatever culture they have used to ferment this, its fantastic and absolutely perfect for this beer. i like the bitter orange coming on late with the hops, this is just so summery and refreshing, a new take on summer beer, and a brilliant one. the faintest funkiness to finish, zapping dry, juicy and mouthwatering, supercharged carbonation, and overall an insanely poundable and unique glass of beer. easily my favorite from these guys so far!
