Pours a hazy whitish yellow. Aroma is apple and its skin and a huge dose of wine like tannins. Flavor is dry, apple skin, grape, tons of white wine like qualities, and some finishing hoppiness. Some positve attributes to the flavor, but not really to my liking at all. Maybe a touch of the scotch and its barrels, but I wouldn't have guessed that without reading up on this beer. A crisp, active mouthfeel. Overall, not a fan of this one.
