Cask conditioned at The Lord Rosebery, Scarborough, as Hook Norton Lion. Served at correct cellar temperature. ABV was 4.2%. Golden colour, very cloudy. Low creamy head. Hoppy and fruity aroma. Distinctly hoppy and grapefruity flavour throughout, very nice.

Clear honey colour. Light froth which partially dissipates.
Lemon citrus to the nose.
Fruity flavour with marmalade bitterness at the end. Good hop to malt balance.
Quite thin but refreshing.
Straightforward English Pale Ale and all the better for it.
