Bottle from brewery.
Dark reddish brown. Fizzy off white head. Thins soon to thin ring.
Aroma malty hints of dark bread, cola, prunes.
Taste light but lots of flavor. Gentle roastiness, prunes, moderate sweetness with balancing spicy woody bitterness. Very nice and lots of character for only 2.8% abv. Would love to have it cask.

Pours a dark ruby with fine head.
Smell is fruity and a bit sweet with notes of dried fruit, brown bread and raisins.
Taste is fruity and sweet with notes of dried fruit, brown toast and raisins with a soft bitterness
Mouthfeel is medium to full, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a fantastic mild, oozing with flavor despite the ABV.

Bottle and cask. Darkest chestnut with a thin light tan head.
A sweet, mild, roasted malt aroma with hints of dark hedgerow fruits.
Demi-sec flavour and one that reflects it's smell. Toasted white bread present. Some lightly caramelised brown sugar noticed.
Soft carbonation. A body the belies it's ABV. Wonderful feel when cask conditioned
Good from the bottle and excellent when found on cask.
