Bottle conditioned with beetroot added. Almost black with a decreasing tan head.
A sour green vegetable smell. Some heavily roasted malt. Charred bread.
Improves vastly upon tasting with hedgerow fruit replacing the vegetation. Some sweetness at the front is apparent.
Medium body and carbonation. Quite a clean feel for stout.
Shame about the aroma.
