Bottle. Clear chestnut with a medium thick, dense and caramel coloured head.
Smells of rum infused dark autumn fruits with hints of composting apples. Woody and vinous.
A mellow flavour reflecting the aroma with caramel and spice. Toffee apple.
Full bodied with a light zingy carbonation.
The best strong ale in the dated series so far.
I wish HN would bottle condition this to provide some ageing.
