Poured without the sparkler I could see next to the pump, a slightly less than crystal clear light bronze. If there was a head, it disappeared before I could tell what colour it was. Slight vinegar on the nose, then buttery caramel, malt and hops on the tongue. A pleasant sipper, with a sharp mouthfeel and a slightly sour finish.

Cask. No sparkler. Clear light amber with a thin dense head.
Fruity English hops when smelt. Toffee malt present.
A beautifully balanced flavour reflecting the aroma.
