Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a mostly clear brass-amber topped by a finger or so of dirty white foam. The nose comprises strawberry bubblegum, vague wheat, and a small bit of clove. The taste brings in more of the same, with more clove, a hint of black pepper, and some orange rind. The body is a light-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda drying finish. This one's not for me, really, as the semi-artificial (and far too sweet) strawberry flavor falls flat on an already flat-seeming saison base.

I'm normally a DIPA fanatic and lately, I have started having a growing interest in Saisons. I have to say, that this particular Saison is an excellent beer. While it's only a 6% ABV, it does have a heavier mouthfeel (major bonus) and is loaded with flavor. If you are used to the heavier Imperial-type beers, this heavier feel from a lower ABV beer will be quite welcome. I hope Foley Brothers keeps this one around and maybe even experiments with a few more Saison varieties!

16 ounce can.
No date, but we just rec'd a couple cases last week of this brand new offering from Brandon, VT.
Moderate pour yields a one and a half inch pure white head over a golden colored body with sticky lacing.
Nose of saison yeast and strawberries with a bit of funk.
Taste mirrors nose rather closely with the yeast and strawberry flavors present all through the finish of slight hop bitterness.
Nice feel and I would drink more than a few of these in the summer.
Overall, this is worth seeking out.
Cheers!
