The almost Dragon's Milk. Great vanilla/pipe tobacco note. Beautiful dark pour with a slight tan head. Very smooth and silky.

A Dragons Milk clone. Served on tap at the bar. Stopped in for pizza and a beer since Perrin's was wall to wall on a Saturday night and an hour wait. I loved the atmosphere of this little west side GR brewery. An old firehouse with lots of exposed brick and Detroit Tigers stuff on the walls. We'll be back for another visit.
OK, back to the beer.
Pours a dark black into the tulip. From the first smell and taste it's very evident they're trying to appeal New Holland Dragons Milk fans. Taste is spot on with Dragons Milk. If you've you that then you've already had this one. Hell, even the name refers to dragons. I'd give a full review but why bother? Just go to my Dragon's Milk review. A good, but not great, Bourbon Barrel aged imperial stout.
I'm looking forward to KBS release in 2 weeks. That's the best interpretation of this style IMO.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
