I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight whilst in Grand Rapids for "guys beer weekend". It poured a clear amber with white head that left some lace. The scent had citrus fruit and floral hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base coupled with citrus fruit and subtle pine presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left some sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of toasted bread, caramel, some pine and orange. Very roasty tasting with toffee and caramel. Mild bitterness.

Combination of orange and medium chestnut, in color. Restrained, tangy, light roasted wood and medium malt aroma. Lightly toasted wood and some medium toasted malt, in the flavor, with a little bite.
IBU: 25

L- Honey body with some lacing on the glass. Not an Amber in look.
S- pick up slight floral hops.
T- a 50/50 blend of Bell’s Amber Ale and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Spot on, if that was the goal.
F- good for the style.
O- true to the name, but not a repeat purchase.

Very nice, tasty ale tried at the Mitten. Nice darker amber color with a little head and spotty lingering lacing. Smells of some citrus and herbal hops. Tastes similarly, along with malt, biscuit, caramel and a little brown sugar. Nice smooth mild mouthfeel, good carbonation. I would consider this sessionable.
