On tap
Pours clear golden color with a foamy white head, good retention. Smells of coriander, peppercorn, citrus. Tastes of coriander, citrus peel, cardamom, spicy yeast, tart lemon. Medium-light body, foamy mouthfeel, creamy finish. Very good, the cardamom sets it off

Appearance: Displays an obscured, hazed appearance, golden-orange in hue with a smallish, whitish head leaving no more than a few flecks of lace.
Smell: A simple, austere malt profile on the nose, small hints of lemon peel as well as flecks of apple, pear. Earthy spiciness.
Taste: Rustic, dusty, hay-like maltiness boosted with a bit of oat and rye. Lightly sweet. A bit of tart lemon emerges with a thin sliver of herbaceousness. Subtly bitter. Balanced phenolic spiciness. Additional albeit restrained orchard fruitiness. Near dry, lightly creamy, velvety finish with a touch of cracked grain.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Reticent is a solid, straight-forward but well-executed saison that satisfies without the need for additional spices and fruits.
