This sounds scary, but it's not really hot. The pepper taste comes through nicely, however, which is what you want in a chilli brew. The smell is quite fruity. Attractive orangey-amber in the pint shaker.
An intriguing mix of sweet mango taste with a distinct and tangy grapefruit taste. Some acidity from the hops as well. Eventually the heat dials up to a slow burn, but it's a really appealing low heat that fades away without any fuss.
I wouldn't call this an IPA, though it does have it's hop element. I'd say it's a surprisingly good hoppy fruit beer with an admirable restraint in flavoring. It's quite drinkable and yet strange enough to be distinctive. On tap at 57 Degrees.
