It’s a beer Double-Double! A double dry-hopped, double IPA that will definitely knock your hops off. We double dry-hopped this IPA to add depth and complexity to the hop aroma and flavor creating a delightfully piquant beer. Brimming with intense tropical notes that roll into flavors of orange zest and nectarine, this IIPA finishes dank and smooth.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: American Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 3rd anniversary 14-oz. Teku glass
Price: $4.49
From: Windmill Farms in San Diego (Del Cerro), Calif.
Purchased: Sept. 21, 2022
Consumed: Oct. 5, 2022
Misc.: Canned on Sept. 7, 2022
Went to Windmill Farms specifically for Dino Park, a collab between Toppling Goliath and North Park. Unfortunately it wasn’t there so instead I bought 12 singles and a 6-pack of Aurora Hoppyalis. Admittedly bought this for the can design but at least it was Thorn and fresh. Bine & Vine’s website’s description for this beer was “It’s a beer Double-Double! Poured a medium amber clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Couldn’t really see any bubbles along the sides or bottom of the glass, rather a serene setting. Excellent lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled floral, nectarine, peach, orange, pine, berry, Skittles, passion fruit and Fruity Pebbles cereal. Almost as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
The taste wasn’t nearly as good. In order got nectarine, peach, orange, pine, berry, Skittles, passion fruit, Fruity Pebbles cereal, floral and caramel. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Was back and forth on this one but I kind of grew to it each sip. Outstanding overall. (Overall - 4.00)
