Poured from 12oz can into Belgian Style Tulip glass. Canned on June 30th 2017.
L: Hazy honey gold, finger of off white head with moderate retention.
S: Smells of Belgian yeast, with some spice and some fruity hop aroma.
T: Quite a tasty beer here, lots of fruitiness with a good Belgian yeast note and some spice. Isn't perfect but close to it.
F: Medium body, crisp Belgian carbonation and a dry spicy finish.
O: Pretty good!

Type: Draft
Glass: 0.4L (13.5 oz.) Allagash glass
From: Blind Lady Ale House in Normal Heights (San Diego), Calif,.
Price: $3.00 (with progressive Friday)
Purchased: Jan. 24, 2014
Consumed: Jan. 24, 2014
Misc.: N/A
Poured a yellow golden semi-clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of white head. A good amount of sporadic soapy foamy lacing on the sides. Average-to-below average retention.
Smelled pilsner notes, corn, honey, sour fruit, apple, kiwi, melon and light sourdough bread.
Tasted started with the sour fruits - apple, grapes and pear - and ended with corn, honey, lemon grass, cereal and bread.
Medium body. Oily texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Abrupt, fruity finish.
Nothing special about this beer. I wouldn’t have it again on purpose.

Jan. 23, 2018 update: Now they say it's brewed with a Trappist yeast and Czech Saaz hops. Quite a stew of flavors. Alarmingly sweet malt bomb with screaming yeast. gaaaaaah.
Original review: Served less cold than usual bar tap temp. Not much foam in the 14 oz shaker. Interesting yeasty aroma. Fruity and fairly full bodied. Quite a bunch of zesty flavors. Scratchy yeast taste with a moderate bitterness. Quite drinkable and refreshing.
Warm and fruity. More of a melon flavor with toasty malt. A pleasant quaff, though it would be better with more carbonation and a lower ABV, but the flavors are right on. Brewer is includes Belgian Pilsner malt and is hopped with Styrian Goldings and rated at 26 IBUs. On tap at the brewpub on Thorn Street just east of 30th.
