Canned 5/15/19.
Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a thick white head. Aroma is malt forward, complimented by lemony hops. Flavor is also slightlty malt forward with a doughy, bready malt flavor which is slowly offset by lemony bitter hops. Finishes a slightly dry with a lingering malt flavor.
Overall this is a solid APA but difficult to score. It reminds me of one of those classic microbrew Pale Ales from like 10 years ago. Not bad, not great but a respectable beer that I'd have again if offered. Go for this if you like your pale ales closer to the English style (not to say this is an English Pale, but the malt flavor sorta reminds me of one)

On-tap 5/9/2015 at Bog Iron Brewery, in Norton, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep golden brown color with a thin off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, citrus, some honey and a good amount of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus, honey and caramel. Then a decent hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while.

Growler filled a few hours ago, shared with rudzud.
Pours a nice creamy thick 1.5 finger head that fades at a med pace with tons of lacing all over, slight hazy honey orange color.
Nose brings fresh hops, mild citrus, like flesh and pith of orange, big floral little flower, bit of fruit, some malt too, a little fresh cereal malt and honey, some nice stone fruit hops too.
Taste brings malt profile out front, light sweet malt with honey again and touch cereal grain. Nice hops, again fruity, light stone fruit with some citrus, more flesh of the fruit, juicy, nice floral flowery hops too, mild grassy note. Nice balance of fresh tasty hops and malts, but little too much on cereal grains. Finish is dry, more fruit, little peach like and citrus pith, nice bitterness.
Mouth is med bod, little soft with creamy oats, decent carb.
Overall it has potential, nice hop profile, nice body and oat creamy feel, but the cereal malt flavor is a bit too much for this to really be great. Still pretty tasty and very enjoyable.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this growler.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice crystal clear golden hue with a one finger head that fades to leave nice lacing and thin wisps.
S - Aromas of faint citrus, very light tropical notes, faint peach, light honey. Cereal biscuit malts, rather balanced.
T - Taste is close to the nose, light tropical notes, more of the faint peach. The malts are rather strong, sweet, more cereal malts. Balanced, but lightly floral.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, clean.
O - Overall this beer wasn't bad, a bit too sweet malty and bready for my tastes but the hops were pleasant.
