Near black color where no light shines through edge of the glass. Modest head but it leaves some streaks of lace.
Mocha aroma with a nice sweet chocolate note.
The flavor is more coffee-like than the smell. No cream or sugar to this dry beer. The body is like Irish stouts (meaning thin), similar to the carbonation. It's similar to a dry stout from Ireland.

On tap at Bog Iron Brewing in Norton, MA.
This one pours a pretty dark brown, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.
Smells like generic but tasty roasted coffee, with chocolate, roasted malt, carob, and cream.
I wish this had a fuller body and flavor, but the flavor itself is very nice. There's a pleasant amount of coffee- being a coffee beer nut, I wish there was more, but that's me. There's a decent amount of chocolate and a great creamy flavor.
This would benefit from a fuller body for sure. It's very creamy though with a good level of carbonation.
This isn't perfect, as the body has issues, but there's some potential.

Poured from a 500ml swing-top growler that was filled at the brewery one day earlier, into a US tumbler glass.
A: The beer is a dark brown color, with a thin beige head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains very strong coffee, roasted malts, some chocolate and a very faint touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out with a strong black coffee flavors up front followed by a hearty roasted malt character. There is some chocolate and smokiness in the background. The hops presence is very mild as it should be but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Smooth and a little crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid coffee-flavored beer to drink for a long time.

Growler filled a couple days ago, shared with rudzud and a few others.
Light fizzy slight creamy head, pitch black color.
Nose is great, fresh nutty fruity coffee, a fruity coffee berry and earthy nuts, light fudgey cocoa, hint caramel nougat, touch espresso roast, touch earthy hops.
Taste brings more fresh coffee, a cup of fresh roasted coffee, mild espresso note, light nutty fruity coffee again. Touch of cocoa and nutty caramel, touch nougat, little earthy hop note, touch of generic roast. Finish is dry and mild bitterness, little dark cocoa and more fresh coffee roast.
Mouth is a bit thin, with the coffee malt and 7% I feel it should be a bit bigger and heavier, nice carb though.
Overall quite nice, tons of fresh coffee, nice flavorful coffee too, good malt flavor but just needs a bit more body.
