Poured from a 500ml swing-top growler that was filled at the brewery one day earlier, into a US tumbler glass.
A: The beer is a deep reddish brown color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a very thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, Belgian yeast, maple, nuts and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out very bready with a hearty malt character and Belgian yeast up front. Then some sweet flavors of maple and caramel come in. The hops presence is very mild but brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, interesting blend of styles, it’s a solid beer to drink for a while.

Growler filled yesterday. I know it's experimental, so I'll go easy.
Pours a darker mahogany dark brown color with barely any light getting through, small fizzy bubble head that fades fairly quickly.
Nose starts a little yeasty, but into decent Belgian esters, mild phenols and a hint of booze like notes, some creamy toasty brown malts, hint of biscuity aroma, touch of a peppery note, with some grassy hops in the background.
Taste brings more biscuity brown toasty malts, a little caramel cream note, hint of toffee and candy flavors. Then mild phenols, hint peppery note, with light esters again. Then some grassy hops in the background, a little bitterness. Finish is dry but a little sweet and sticky, touch more peppery phenols and creamy brown malts lingering, touch more grassy hops.
Mouth is med bod, a little creamy, a bit light on the carbonation.
Overall not bad, somehow it seems to ahve gotten a bit better than the sample I had yesterday. Decent creamy brown malt flavors not too syrupy, the peppery phenols are pretty decent, makes it seem like a much bigger heavier beer but it's not.
