An easy pour from a 16-oz. can produced a finger of eggshell white creamy foam with very long retention and blotches of lacing. Semi-clear orange-straw with a hint of gold and amber highlights, I can see my fingers through the haze.
Bold smell of citrus (lemon and grapefruit) and herbal hops, malt appears as baked bread and rising dough.
Semi-dry with average bitterness, juicy taste of citrus, baked apple and pear. Malt taste is 2nd, bready and toasted with yeast left-overs. Pine is added lightly to the hop taste which builds during the lasting finish. The after taste is dry with full bitterness. Alcohol is very well hidden until it warms a bit.
Medium bodied with abundant carbonation that softens the mouthfeel. Bold tastes are well balanced. almost smooth and deceptively drinkable. Styled as an IIPA, labeled as a West Coast IPA. I think it's an AIPA and a darned good one.
Canned On 08/04/21.

On tap at Bog Iron Brewing in Norton, MA.
This one pours a slightly hazy orange/amber hybrid color, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.
Smells like grapefruit, tangerine, light floral soapy aromas, honey, and pine.
This tastes maybe a tiny bit musty, but it's still very tasty. There's a hint of soap, but it's not overwhelming or anything, with lots of creamy tropical fruit- tangerine and guava, maybe some pineapple, with red grapefruit as well. There's a little bit of bitterness, more than NE-style, but less than West Coast style, somewhere in the middle.
This is light bodied, not entirely well attenuated, but crisp enough, with a good level of carbonation.
This isn't completely well constructed, but it hits a lot of nice notes.

Pours a golden maybe slightly orange color with a nice white head with retention. Slightly cloudy but I wouldn't say hazy.
Aroma: you can smell the tropical aroma even when pouring at a distance. Getting mango, papaya and some citrus.
Taste: a restrained bitterness up front, mild at most. Highly drinkable. Getting mostly citrus flavors and some sweetness from the malt. Faint pine, thankfully! Can't taste alcohol but able to tell it's slightly high in ABV.
Feel: medium to full body. Moderate carbonation.
