Viskey Sour is Big Tart (a 7.1% Berliner Weiss that has been lightly dry-hopped to give it a hint of orange peel flavor) aged in bourbon barrels. It's a very unique take on Berliners and we think the flavors go together exceptionally well (just like the beverage the name suggests!) Cheers!

Thanks to JLindros for sharing this bottle.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy amber copper hue with a good one finger head that fades to leave light lacing and wisp.
S - Aromas of big warm bourbon barrels, light tartness, light wheat. Big big juicy barrel notes.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, great juicy bourbon, nice tart apples. Good subtle funk, really nice almost calvados notes. Pleasantly tart and bourbon forward.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, good body, lightly flemmy.
O - Overall this was a very solid beer, great bourbon notes though it does clash with the Berliner notes.

Very little head, fair legs, very hazy apricot orange color
Nose interesting, flashes of bourbon and whiskey, tart creamy wheat Berliner, cream of wheat, little apple brandy, sweet whiskey.
Taste tart sweet Berliner, tart lemony wheat, lactose sugar, creamy wheat, big whiskey, little vanilla oak, sweet bourbon, so much bourbon, fruit esters, apple brandy calvados thing, tart flemmy late, little booze, little acidity
Mouth is med mod, creamy and tart, little booze and little flemmy, decent fluffy carb
Overall pretty nice, bourbon overpowers everything, but a little sweet tart apple brandy calvados thing.

Pours a hazy orange-gold with a loose head that dissipates towards the edges. There's definitely whiskey notes in the nose, as well as acetic acid, ethanol and hints of vanilla and oak. Taste follows nose. Mouthfeel is light in body with an easy, even carbonation. I struggled with reviewing this beer - I really get no Berliner Weissbier qualities; however, it does very much taste like a whiskey sour.
