Tap at the brewery
Big creamy head fades semi quickly, hazy golden tan almost iced tea color
Nose is funky, lots of fruity esters pear skin, some other obscure fruits I can't label, plenty of phenols, peppery spice, a touch of caramelized banana, clove, a mild sweet toasty golden malt.
Taste sweet malts, little toasty golden malt, quickly into fruity esters, banana, creamy wheat I think, little pear skin, bubblegum, some phenols kick in with spices, pepper, clove, etc. A little candy caramelized flavor goes nice with the banana and fruits. Dry finish, lingering phenol spices and fruity esters.
Mouth is med bod, a bit creamy, a touch light on the carbonation.
Overall pretty nice, light easy drinking Belgian like a tripel without the big alcohol, not quite the spice or wheat level of a wit, an interesting beer.
