From a growler purchased the day before:
Pours slightly hazed copper amber with a thin, lasting white head that leaves some lacing.
The smell is of some caramel, some yeast, a hint of citrus.
The taste is of caramel with just a nod of bitter balance. Slightly chalky finish.
It has a buttery texture.
A light-bodied pale ale. Would do better in the English Pale Ale category (though it wouldn't exactly "shine" in that category it would be truer to what it is). It is a bit unrefined...but still drinkable.

Fairly ho-hum, not all that hoppy really. Hazy orange with a thin layer of white spotty lace.
Aroma is buttered biscuit malt, faintly floral.
Taste is mild and malty, slightly buttery, vague dried citrus peel. Light bodied and easy to drink, but also pretty forgettable. Needs a little more hop character to shine.
