Again my standard caveat. Rated the way I do on Untappd.
I am a red ale fan anyway. I tend to like my reds a touch on the sweeter, caramel side. But this has caramel notes with a fairly big roast character. It works. There's enough caramel to come through, but the roast mutes it. This would probably go great with a burger or steak. But it does stand up on its own. I will say the more it sits, the more the roastiness comes out. A beer worth drinking if you can get it.
