Golden amber with a medium white head that has decent retention, leaving spots of lacing. Smell is fairly light but features a light caramel, slightly tart fruits, and a biscuity, bready scent. Also a somewhat citric and definitely earthy hop presence. More flavorful than what the nose provided. The fruit flavors come through more, somewhat tea like. A touch of caramel and somewhat doughy, biscuity bread. Nice balancing bitterness from the hops but not overly so as some beers in this style tend to do. Good mouthfeel, light and refreshing with good carbonation. Another easy drinking, lower ABV beer from OHB that you can enjoy a few of before all is said and done. Nice stuff, here.

On tap at the Taproom in downtown Hickory.Poured a clear amber with one finger white head, some caramel and fuirty malt in the nose mainly, not much hop presence.I liked the bready malt base of this beer, really true to the ESB style that I have come to really like, juicy fruitiness, and some earthy hop in the finish.A well structured ESB,I really enjoyed this one.

Pours gold to amber with minimal head and nothing to retain. Faint lacing.

Very thin nose. This seems to be a trend with their beers.

Slight roast malt on the hit, but otherwise a very clean tasting beer. Nice bitter finish with roast flavors building.

Appropriate feel for the style.

A good one to try.
