Had this in Denver, June 2019. We weren't here too long, just long enough to see the homeless bum throwing rocks and calling everyone racial slurs. Anyways, this is the 1st review of this beer on BA.
Pours a pretty dark red cherry color. Almost no head retention. Aroma of cherry. Not much in the way of salinity or sourness in the nose, but the cherry is there, and it is rich, sweet, good. Seemed like more of a tart cherry's place, but we're doing good so far.
Taste is very nice. Dry cherry alternating with sweet, mild sourness and even milder salt quotient. I dunno, I liked it, but it really straddled the line between a fruit beer and a gose. Actually leaning towards fruit moreso, but they hit the fruit aspect, so hard to hate because of style guidelines when you appreciate the taste. I just didn't think it had enough saltiness and sourness. But the cherry was bangin. Would like to try it again.
