Presentation: 500mL dark green bottle with the bottling date printed on the back label. Served In a goblet.
Appearance: Some bubbles show up as you pour but they disappear almost immediately so there's no real head to speak of. It doesn't leave behind any lacing either. It's a hazy, deep, very dark blood red color.
Smell: It's a sweet and fruity scent of fresh cherries with a slight mustiness and funk on the back end.
Taste It's extremely sour and juicy. It's mostly cherries on the palate with some fresh lemon juice and a slightly rough graininess in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel It's quite robust, creamy and very smooth. The carbonation is low and it gets pretty cloying.
Overall: It feels more like pure fruit juice than beer with the extreme sourness and low carbonation. That said, it still tastes great and has a great color.
