Created as a salute to summer, Simply Dusty is like bare feet in warm sand or counting clouds with your favorite folks. The French saison yeast creates a personal flavor fireworks of baked apples, lemony citrus, and wintergreen. The finale is a dry, yet silky smooth, mouthfeel wrapped in the calming kiss of chamomile.

It’s well done, but I’m not a fan of chamomile

On tap at brewery.
Nice fresh well balanced mix of floral and fresh melon/fruit cocktail. Light bodied, refreshing, clean. Pleasant but not overly memorable.

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter. Clear pale yellow with a 2.5 finger white head. Retention is for the entire session and it keeps a frothy cap with tons of lacing. Bubbles stream upwards from glass bottom. Nice floral banana scent, with some Belgian yeast. Light honey sweetness emerges as it warms. Tasty banana, fruity zest, chamomile, with Belgian yeast, Hints of sweet honey and it has a nice fruity, yeasty, combination going on. Light bodied, with excellent carbonation and creamy feel. Slightly dry on the finish. A delicious Saision without any peppery spice.

12oz bottle, served in a snifter glass. Pour is slightly cloudy golden yellow body, one finger white head, good retention and a little bit of lacing. Smell is chamomile, grain, a bit of banana, straw. Flavour is similar, but a refreshing banana, light straw and grain, floral and chamomile, touch of spice. A bit of diacetyl. Mouthfeel is medium lighter bodied, good carbonation, smooth and even slightly creamy. Solid floral saison, more of a weizen, really. The diacetyl is a bit distracting as it warms, though.

Poured a straw hay color with a very light white head that disappeared quickly. Aromas were very fragrant with a light spiciness and chamomile. No hop presence; just slightly sweet and floral. Flavors were quite similar as expected; subtle camomile, subtle yeast esters with a light malt sweetness. The spiciness is there but does not overwhelm the palate. Leaves you ready for another sip. Mouthfeel: light bodied and extremely refreshing. Overall: this is the ultimate saison that you can easily have one after the other. So refreshing and flavorful yet not overwhelming to the palate.
