Listed as Finnish Sahti on UnTappd with 73 ratings averaging 3.72 and almost half this month, Fin Land is a recent release. Bought from a favorite source of regional micros. I really wish I had found Fin Land sooner.
I note that I'm no expert on Sahtis; having only 4 with 2 from Mobcraft (also 'sconsin) and one from Off Color who is a great farmhouse brewer along the Chicago River.
My main point about Fin Land is a question: how is it possible that such a young brewer can produce such quality in an obscure style ? You tell me how they could give such a soft mouth Feel. You tell me how balance can be made with more juniper than hops.
As for my micro-review, I give Karben4 good points OA for their story about how they grew their business from a taproom to a canner to distribution outside of Madison to braving the Illinois ABC (that last part is not on the website.) Their website is thoughtful, but the basic story is a well-trod path shared by many micros. Karben4's portfolio is typical American micro and does not make me hunger for more; but I certainly wish I can get Fin Land again.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
