Hoppier than the typical Winter Warmer, but this is the Northwest. (And the hops are moderate by that standard.)
Frosty Chairlift opens with a pretty stupendous tan foam that stays active long enough for me to finish this sipper. Smells are mostly malt. I don't detect hops until the initial attack and they dominate by mid-palate, but then moderate in the finish; letting the seed malt state a comeback. Medium-mouthed to almost full.
My first from Rainy Daze, I went on their website. It is OK for a 12 year old, but it reflects a micro lacking in messianic accomplishment to spread the Gospel according to Beer Geeks. After 12 years, they should have gotten more done. But we all do what we can, even if it is only to review other people's work. Rainy Daze seems like one more typical Northwest Independent Micro in which "typical" does not apply. Cheers !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
