American Style IPA packed full of Centennial, Cascade, Chinook and Warrior hops. Citrus, pine and earthy flavors complimented by a balanced malt backbone. Definitely a RoadRash you want!

12oz can picked up at the general store in Tusayan, AZ; first experience with THAT Brewery
Poured into a Level Belgian-style tulip

P hazy orange w/ a 3f foamy white head
N med nose of sharp-ish lemon and floral notes
T profile follows w/ lemon, grapefruit, floral character, and pine needles; on the dry side; fairly bitter finish
Mf light-med bodied w/ soft-med carb; a touch creamy, yet coating
O not my favorite profile, but alright

Canned on: ?????

A - Can almost foamed over as soon as I opened it (has been sitting in the fridge undisturbed for a good two weeks). Murky, hazy medium golden orange color with a MASSIVE foam pour leaving about a half inch of beer in the bottom of the pint glass, is taking a long time to quiet down before doing a careful 2nd pour.

S - Pine and a little bit of woodiness fills the nose.

T - Some dry malt base with light pine, citrus, and some wood, ends with a piney bitterness.

M - Light medium body with prickly carbonation and a little bit of an "airy" texture from the carbonation.

O - Not much personality.

12 oz. can:

Pours deep golden with a foamy head. Little lacing.

The smell is of dank pine, something a bit medicinal.

The taste is woody, dank pine. Something chemical/medicinal mixes in. Slight bitter touch in the finish. Alcohol shows.

Drying alcohol could be covered better. A little raw.

This one is mediocre. Followed it with another IPA to see if my taste buds were off. Nope - it's the beer. Mediocre at best. (I do like how they gave it a pine character (so I edged the overall up a bit), but it doesn't work as well as it should.

A: Deep copper color with rich foam and thick lacing.
N: Hops, pine, and citrus.
T: Very dry bitterness with loads of hops and a nice citrus finish.
M: Light/Medium
O: A very nice IPA, love the bitterness and dry hit with a smooth citrus hops punch. Very good.

This poured an orange copper color into a tulip glass, not much head with little to no sticky lacing. Bit of a citrus nose and a nice malt balance in the middle. Pine notes befitting a northern AZ offering. I think this can best described as a bit underwhelming, but also a great ”introductory” craft IPA.

An overall average IPA. Absolutely nothing stands out about it at all other than a very dark yellow color. Not bad, not great. I would drink this again, but I don't think I'd ever buy a six pack of it. I do appreciate the solid graphic design work on the can. At 7%, it's better than a session IPA but I can get a lot more bang for the buck with other IPAs. Not at all bitter, so this would be good introduction IPA.
