Out of my element on this brewery, but...
This beer wasn't listed as nitro, but head might indicate maybe it was. Creamy with lacing for days. Clarity indicates a red-hued dark brown.
Nose is almost entirely an enticing, ever so lightly sweet coffee. Powerful coffee notes, perhaps an impression of cream.
Not as creamy as nose indicates, but coffee in spades. This might be a very fresh keg, so maybe I'm getting the best of it. There is a nuttiness to this beer behind the coffee, and a weak coffee astringency at the end. The coffee is dying to open, lingers, but an actual beer pops up behind it. I want to say it's at admire brown ale than porter, but I may be off on that.
Enjoyable coffee beer, heavy on the coffee, at least in my pour. Tasty, but I can see a YMMV situation. Hopefully not.
