L: straw gold with a mild haze under a 2" off-white cap with fair to good retention

S: Spice, citrus and lemon grass aromas lead with banana and clove aromas in the background

T: flavors are rich and complex with moderate hefeweizen yeast flavors of banana and clove with wheat providing support. lemon grass is more forward

F: very creamy texture with medium plus body and medium high carbonation

O: very interesting and subtle array of flavors that build and diversity as the beer warms

man, this is far and away the best beer i have had from these guys, i mean leaps and bounds better than anything else. granted, i am a sucker for sorachi ace hops, and they are used liberally in this creative and well executed wheat beer. its real pale straw colored, creamy white headed, and with just a wonderful aroma of fresh sorachi hops. they are totally unique in this context to me, as i have never had them in a weiss style beer before, and the combination of the fruity yeast and the majorly distinct hops is fantastic, like a creamy banana lemon dessert of some kind. the wheat is real flavorful too, fresh and more substantial than it looks like it would be in such a light beer, but there is a nice round body to this. the hops seem oily to me, almost greasy, a really cool texture on top of a very original combination of flavors. slight dill to this, lemon curd, and a delightful effervescence. overall a surprising and awesome beer, perhaps a sign of better beer to come from these guys. this is on point!
