12 oz cans canned 2/5/24 into a tall glass.
L: SRM 13 Pours a moderately hazed rusty red amber color with a 3/4" creamy off white head that recedes to a frothy cap, light steady carbonation, medium-heavy lacing with very good sheeting & light banding.
S: Caramelized malts, brown bread, a hint of dark fruits.
T: Lightly toasted sweet malts, dates, plum, raisins, light citrus zest adds bitterness, it is very gently pale, a suggestion of brown soda bread, it is slightly robust and has a long linger.
F: Gently brisk then soft and a bit pillowy & smooth with a medium bodied mouthfeel with a long moderately dry finish.
O: Very pleasant tasting with a soft easy feel. It has a long bitter linger but overall a lighter aftertaste. A quaffable beer that would also be fitting for Oktoberfest time of the year. It is very good to excellent in its style.
