Can't find a best-before on bottle, cap nor on the cardboard outer packaging.
L. Almost clear and very pale straw, similar to a cava sparkling wine. Some rising CO2, head quickly clears to lacing.
S. Fruity. That's all I get, but the bottle says it contains gooseberries. 2/5 [later during tasting I got a waft of a pefumed aroma].
T. 'Thin' (watery), vaguely perfumed, clearly acidic/tart; most strange.
M thin, bitterly acidic.
O I don't think I've drunk anything like this before. I only persevrered since I'd paid for it. There is a 4 paragraph epistle on the back of the bottle presumably for those who find 'The Story' adds to the experience of drinking a poor beer. Who knows... Meanwhile I'm unimpressed with this oddity, and I'm not buying any 'Story' notrthe beer again

330ml bottle.
L: Hazy, bright yellow/gold with a thin head that quickly becomes a ring.
S: Fantastic, sweet, fruity, rose petals aroma with a little funk. Light & airy.
T: A little disappointing after the great nose. Subtle verging on underpowered. Lemony and faintly sour. Gooseberries come through in the finish.
F: Light body, fresh with a little bite.
O: This is a very subtle farmhouse. Approachable and refreshing. It grew on me over time.

Pours pale gold with smallish head with just a lingering ring that lasts. Nose is brightly acidic with nice funk. Flavor, sadly, doesn't match the nose. Like a tart euro lager. Fair is fair...mouthfeel is light and crisp. Overall, drinkable, but not that good.

I think it might be an old bottle/bad batch - it has a vague tartness, dry but with a dull malt taste and a short finish. No head but quite pale and cloudy.
