Aug. 2018: 330 ml can, at the Lido Beach Bar, Havre des Pas, St. Helier. ABV is 4.5%. Pale yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus / yuzu fruit, also some lactic and grainy notes. Distinct citrus / yuzu in the flavour, light bodied, refreshing, moderate hops in the finish.

Pours a hazy pale yellow. Aromas of mild mineral seaweed, yuzu, and floral notes with a dash of spice. Light and crisp, very clean throughout. Delicate notes of stone fruit and flowers, a mild tares near the end, and a soft semidry peppery palate closer. A great summer beer.

330ml can. Bright yellow with a small head despite moderate carbonation. A hint of saaz hops otherwise no discernible aroma. Slightly sour flavour (yuzu?) but no hint of the kelp or Sichuan pepper referenced on the can. Hint of sweetness and almost no bitterness. Light, innocuous body. Disappointing pale ale that seems to go nowhere.
