Hazy and cloudy golden color with an elegant yeast veil. Creamy 3 finger head with an island, lasting around 15 minutes, with very good legs and a decent swirl. Flavors of grapefruits, pineapples, orange, butter, caramel, with herbal hops. Light creamy and oily medium to full body with a moderate crisp. Very strong strength finish, slightly dry hopped and leafy, highly piney and citrusy. Deep herbal tongue coat, slightly dry and quite robust but I find it's lacking some balance here though at least the freshness is alright. Moderately alcoholic and warming. Overall very good quality craft.

Best Quebec IPA I've had! Finally one with some serious piney hops to it! I'm from the West Coast and this beer has it going, hoppy but very balanced, not extreme by any measure yet thank god actually hoppy. This is the real deal.

A-Bright golden yellow with bits of sediment suspended throughout, whitehead that lingers.
S-On the dank side of the hop profile, with sweet Caramel malt in the background.
M-Beautiful low-end carbonation that allows the malt and hop profiles to come through a medium to full body and resinous mouthfeel
T-Sweet Caramel and malt predominate as the Simcoe hops complement with their dank piney character
O-This is a great beer, highlights Simcoe hops well. Highly recommend.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some good amount of lacing. Aroma of floral hops notes with some citrusy notes. Taste is a mix of floral hops with nice citrusy hops light residuals sugar with some discernable bitterness. Body is full with good carbonation. Solid IPA but not as juicy and floral as I was expecting.

This beer pours a lightly hazy amber color with thick beige head. The head starts at two fingers before settling to a fattish film. Good retention; lacing rings/'strata' (4). The aroma is immediately candied orange with honey on wheat bread. As it warms, a little lemon zest and sap come out to highlight the rich, lightly toasted malt (3.75). The flavor is on the same page, sporting a hearty malt presence adorned with light citrus and a faintly resinous finish, though the malt sweetness is strong here as well (3.75). Medium body/carbonation, creamy feel almost-shellac finish (4). All in all this is a nice beer. It is definitely too heavy on the malt (even as a purported "West Coast IPA") but it is still a decent beer. Maybe it's a road trip to the west coast of England? It has a soft feel but is a little too sweet and not hoppy enough. Either for the style or its own good. Really I think it is an all right beer, but I think more bright hops and less toasty bread would make the whole beer pop a little better. I don't quite get people's infatuation with this one, but it wasn't bad (3.75).

At first the head was very creamy and let a very nice die on the glass. Shy pale opaque blonde.
Smell at first is very oily piney and a bit going on the grapefruit. But the smell shy away.
In mouth it is very unidirectional. Hoppy, oily, piney with a shy peppery finish.

Fresh bottle from Broue Ha ha in Gatineau. Simcoe emphasized version. Decent IPA but not exception. Their DIPA is worth seeking out though. lasting head.

Yellow/blonde in colour, really cloudy with a 1-inch white head. Really nice hoppy smell, citrus, grapefruits, oranges. It's really an hop bomb in the mouth, intense bitterness, nice grapefruits flavor. It's a really intense IPA, nice beer.
