Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and slight lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt and light toffee notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of a caramelized malt with light toffee and light residual sugar and a thin finale. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not bad but doesn’t have some of the complexity I would usually associate with the style.

On draft at the pub.
Poors a nice dark brown with minimal lacing. Not much of a nose on this pint but it makes up for that in flavour. A good malt presence with a caramel finish. A good balance of smoke that is thrown off by an overwhelming sweetness. A touch over carbonated and not as smooth as I would have hoped.
