Had on tap at Bluebird on Phinney Ridge. Review from notes.

A: Served in a mason jar, Caffe vita was black with a small tan head on top, rather foamy, with nice retention and sheets of lacing.

S: The overwhelming aroma is fresh coffee grounds. It really masks anything else that might be present though besides from underlying roastiness.

T: The taste follows the aroma with a heavy dose of coffee combined with roasted malt. Maybe a hint of cocoa.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not the smoothest beer, but not really harsh either.

O: Not a bad beer, just really dominated by the coffee, which isn't really my thing.
