Gold approaching amber color. Very mild haze. Modest head which creates a few spots for lace.
Crisp and prickly pleasant hop aroma. Low pale malt background.
Good malt start but the hop bites quickly. Elevated body but the carbonation is even more powerful making the beer thinner than it is. Good balanced finish with a soft, hoppy lingering aftertaste.

On tap at the separate taproom (not the brewery). Served in a pint glass. Pours a darker caramel body, one finger white head. Fair retention and lacing. Smells fairly malty, sweet caramel malt and toffee, a bit of resin and floral notes. Flavour follows; moderate caramel malt sweetness, a bit of resinous bitterness, sweet toffee, a bit of grassiness. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, a bit syrupy sweet on the finish. This is a standard IPA, solid and favors its malt base.
