On tap at Slow Boat's taproom. This was a weird beer; lighter yellow colour, one finger white head. Smell was mildly nutty, but otherwise fairly malty with caramel and toffee, touch of earthy floral notes. Seems that the base is a pale ale, which honestly does not seem to work together with the apparent addition of peanuts. Presumably they used real peanut, and that may have not translated across very well. Mouthfeel is thin, a bit watery, nothing much on the backend.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
